Absolutely breathtaking forest Park, its much bigger than it first appears as well. It's big enough that you can walk around and see only a handful of people. It's such a peaceful place to have a wander around and there's the chance of seeing deer from time to time. There's a nice cafe too that serves food and coffee etc.

Great for walkers or for families. Several choices of routes. Play area is great too.

What a beautiful forest to walk with dogs..(our boxer loves it)Everyone very friendly, cafe food and drinks really tasty.Cafe staff very friendly and helpful. New to the area(just week's)Totally recommended going .Yearly car park permit well worth getting..Thank you everyone who works there..

Beautiful forest, full of wildlife. Well signed walks, all graded for difficulty. Nice facilities at the visitor centre including a café, picnic tables, children's play area, toilets and dog washing area. There is ample parking for all. Thoroughly enjoyed our walk with our puppy. Highly recommend this place.

Lovely place for walking and clearly marked trails. Great place for letting your dog loose for a good run. And play in the mud!!
