Extremely rude store management!! Staff need training on how to deal with customers. I politely requested refund for an item at Customer Service desk and was basically told off in front of a queue of people by duty manager. Awful experience as a customer esepcially since I made a special half hour journey here. Will never shop at this store again.

All the shops in my area had closed because it was very late, but Asda was still open for another hour. For reference it was 11pm and it closed at 12am, I had to get a taxi their and back which I was totally willing to do because I had just been paid. I arrived and was expecting to walk around and do a little bit of shopping for some essentials. I went to go buy some tabacoo products and I saw that no one was serving the tabacoo section but their was plenty of staff floating round so I asked kindly if someone could serve it as id only be getting like 1 item, to my surprise someone offered and they served me I asked for my item and they made SUCH a fuss I know I sound like a raging Karen but she said she was busy with other jobs when she was literally standing outside the self service staring at a wall I was like?? And she made one comment that stunned me, she said “you do this all the time I’ve served you before” baring in mind I had NEVER seen that women in my life. I thought Asda would train their staff much better and not make rude and petty arguments to do something in their job description?? She was doing and nice thing and then ruined it to feed her ego EXTREMELY unprofessional.

Visited the store this morning and was not impressed - empty/poorly stocked/untidy shelves, too many personal shoppers often blocking the aisles with their large trolleys and, as for this crazy one way system in the aisles, very few shoppers were even sticking to the procedure which , in some cases caused more congestion than a normal shopping trip. I came away with only a few of the items on my list, resulting in me having to go to another supermarket to get the rest of the shopping done ! I will not be returning to this hell hole ever again ! !
