Alex is developing a solid base for maths and English with Kumon Henley. The approach works well in taking her through at her own pace and we currently work on three maths books a week and five English. The real benefits are that the work does not move on to more complicated maths until there is a thorough understanding at each level. Her school teachers support Kumon and we find it works well with school taught maths. Dawn is a patient teacher and Alex loves working with her and independently. Admittedly, some weeks she’s more keen than others, but we will definitely be sticking with the programme as we know older children who are extremely glad they stuck with it.

My 11 year old son was struggling with remembering his tables and basic maths processes. After 18 months of Kumon maths he now has a concrete knowledge of his tables and as a result can now do multiplication, division and fractions with confidence. Following the Kumon programme is a commitment for the children and parents, but Dawn is incredibly supportive throughout the process and recognises when children are finding it tough and finds a solution to keep them motivated. We are extremely grateful to Dawn for all she has done to help our son develop a solid understanding of the basic principles of maths.

The tuition centre develops children from preschool age upwards which really helps in getting the children above their school grade in maths and English, making them more confident and independent. Staff are attentive and well trained. Additionally the centre is ofsted registered- they accept childcare vouchers.

My two daughters have both greatly benefited from Kumon and the care and dedication of Dawn. She has strengthened their confidence in English and Maths and we look forward to continuing to solidify their understanding of key concepts. Thank you Dawn!
