I was told 2 days before the cake I ordered thot she wasn’t able to make it as she wasn’t feeling Well.it was for a 50th birthday so it was a special cake!surely a professional would have a plan B? Like asking another bakery to do it instead of letting people down? In the end she said she would do it and I would have rather given the £60 to a charity because it looked like a child had decorated it!! I was so upset and embarrassed I went to tesco and bought 2 cakes and stuff to go on top which cost another £45!! She offered me a full refund but has now blocked me so people please be careful before you part with your money here!! The photo I sent here and asked could she make it and I didn’t care how much it cost.I don’t believe for a moment my cake would have looked like I wanted even if she was 100% well! I shudder to think if I had wanted a wedding cake to be let down at the last moment!! So no refund and £60 wasted as well as £45 to buy other cakes!!
So I sent a Janet the details in good time but the finishing on the cake was shoddy and the cream work terrible.There were gaps and holes in the icing and even she admitted that it didn’t look good and she even offered a refund after promising she would send it she stopped replying and picking my calls and even blocked me.Truly my worst experience ever.
