My daughter signed her passport twice and could not use that one and was going to Disney land within 4 Days I paid for the fast track service hoping to get it back in time my interview was 8.30 in the morning they were very helpful and told me they would try to get the passport to me as soon as possible. On the Thursday met office issue red warning for snow and ice for the next day so I was getting nervous but on the Thursday afternoon I had an email that the passport had been printed the passport office was closed on Friday because of snow the weekend passed and the passport turned up on the Monday. thanks to the staff who delt with me and daughter what a brilliant service my daughter can now go to Euro Disney with the school. Thank you.

Hopelessly slow and using the covid 19 situation as an excuse and making no effort to clear the backlog. If there is a backlog there are ways of dealing with it, for instance work longer hours or adopt a three shift working system. Organisations like this seem to delight in being uncooperative and inflexible, l guess its their culture.

One of the worst passport office, from same household 3 application , I do not know reason 2 sent to glasgow 1 to Newport , received glasgow applications within 2 weeks , Thanks to them.. And , Newport office 4 weeks still waiting.... and, child renewal application with old passport provided.. And, call them ask them how long more.. And they say could be up to 3 months.. Why not just simply forward to another office where things move smoother.. I do not know what to say...
