Got car on the same day. All it took 15 minutes including paperwork, payment and car inspection before I could set off. Only £100 deposit which is cheapest around. On the return it took also less then 10 minutes for car inspection.
Garage is in the middle of Leicester which is handy if you are new in town. Highly recommended if you need a quick get away car while in Leicester. Giving my 5 stars to Green Motion Car & Van Rental Leicester.

Fast efficient service and turnaround. Very good vehicles. They do check them very thoroughly when you return them, but have never had a problem. Slightly intimidating turn to drive out of the place, being on a sharp corner in the middle of an effective roundabout! But handy for walking to city centre. Prices always seem good.
Really bad experience at Green motion today. I have rented and done long term lease for years so I know what to expect. Went to pick my car 2 days ago and a family were so distraught at being charged for a small scratch in an unusual location on a van they rented. I have now experienced the same thing. I checked the car thoroughly before drop only for them to comeback to say I had scoffed a wheel. Very convenient as the £100 excess does not pay for wheel scuff. They look cheap on the surface but by the time you return your car you would have been better off elsewhere. Its only 100 miles per day and if you are desperate and have to use them be very vigilant especially when your car is being inspected both on collection and return. Take pictures/ videos of the process. Best thing is go elsewhere. There is a scam here and it is only a matter of time before they are caught!!!

As you can see by the most recent reviews, I'm not the only customer that has been had over... I've spent thousands with these guys over the past 3 years, and took my BMW 1 series back today to have a man inspect the tyres so closely it started ringing alarm bells (he was obviously looking for something he already knew was there), and sure enough BINGO he found a cut in the tyre that I 110% had nothing to do with and had me over for £201!! WHAT A JOKE. I tried to have a conversation with Scott, the "branch manager", but was confronted with a childish attitude, and the end result was "COMPUTER SAYS NO". Even if I had have done the damage it would have been good business sense to waive the charge. Good luck guys, this looks like a business going under to me! You've lost my business! Feel like I've been mugged... Have already contacted Trading Standards!
Have been using Green motion services for a while now, the staff have always been very helpful and friendly, overall excellent customer service. Their vehicle are always in mint condition. If you're looking to rent a vehicle I highly recommend Green motion Leicester city centre.
