BE CAREFUL!!! No ticket came out so assumed it had ran out of paper. It also didn't say my card had been declined/payment hadn't been accepted so I assumed it had been paid. Just had a PCN come through my door and I wanted to appeal. When I checked my statements no payment had gone out so now there's no proof. Complete scam. Will never park in an NCP Carpark again.
It's a car park, a park for cars where they can nap while you ride the train. As i don't own a car I haven't been able to quiz it on the experience bur I'm sure it would relay an enjoyable period of stationary time without me. Maybe in future entertainment for the cars could be provided? Another idea would be the possibly of a place whereby your car could partake in social activities with other cars such as dances, speed dating and debates? Obviously we don't want loutish cars zooming around beeping and acting drunkenly, but I really do feel that we need to give all those cars something to do!
Was going to use this car park for my commute to work, give it a chance despite the bad reviews.
On my second day came back to find my car with a ticket on its windshield, allegedly for "parking in a restricted area". I had parked in a marked bay that was NEXT to a bay that had been cordoned off, but I was parked well within a normal parking bay and paid and displayed.
Appealing the PCN now, have no intention of paying their outrageous fine.
Will never use this car park again -- seems they hand out bogus tickets to anyone in the hope that some will be paid without question.
EDIT: The PCN has now been cancelled by NCP
Be careful parking here, cars have been damaged a few times here and NCP dont care even when they could provide info with CCTV.
Not enough parking. Station has no food or drink outlet. Toilet was filthy, no toilet paper, no soap!
