Changed here from budget Vets back in 2012 due to it being closer to my house. The only criticism I have is the service from Belinda the receptionist. She was very rude in her manner and left me waiting in the rain when she said she would come and call me to pay. This is the last type of customer service a distressed pet owner needs so I would recommend re training your staff on basic skills.
Robyn has been absolutley dealing with our Oscars eye removal provided detailed information about problems with his eye from start to finish very professional
Wow... what an experience. Recently moved to Newport with my 5 dogs, summerville vets spayed one of my dogs back in February 2020 for £180 after lockdown I returned with my other two girls with pandemia meaning handover of the dogs would be in the car park. After being left to wait inside my car for over 20 minutes with my two frantic terriers and with me being 9 months pregnant, finally the vet appeared by this point my dog was extremely nervous and refused to go with the vet, we applied a muzzle but she was not happy to go with the vet, the inexperience of the staff member quickly became apparent as she grabbed my dog in a manner I wouldn't expect a trained animal professional to do so, I removed my dog quickly from the situation and vow to never return. I was willing to pay £295 per dog to be spayed, I will now be driving 30miles to visit my old vet who are incredible in comprassion to this place. Don't let facade fool you, they employ inexperienced staff and do not care for the simple wellbeing of the animals they claim to care for.
Brilliant service. Considering Covid conditions, Sumnerhill have it nailed. I did not for more than 4 minutes before a vet came out to see my dog. Excellent service. Thank you very much.
Highly recommend this place my dog isn't the easiest to handle sometimes borderline aggressive but out of my care they are amazing with her and always comes out a happy dog
