Fab vets, My dog was seen very quickly! She seemed very comfortable with the staff even though she suffers with severe separation and social anxiety being a Romanian rescue. The staff kept me up to date throughout and were very honest and helpful. Tarot is on the mend and I'm very grateful for the help received out of hours!! I was a bit of a mess emotionally because she's my baby, but the staff were absolutely lovely and didn't judge my shaky overprotective self. Answered all questions I had quite happily. Very reasonable priced too, especially for emergency out of hours! I expected to be paying a lot more, but you automatically pay whatever you need to get your fur baby's better.

Visiting an emergency vet can’t always be a good experience and this visit concluded in the worst possible way with the loss of a well loved dog. However, the staff at Vets Now Chesterfield were very kind and understanding throughout that very long Sunday evening. The on-duty vet who dealt with us, in particular, was very professional and helped us enormously. Also, ‘after service’ matters were provided along with the same care and attention. So, a bad experience but a good experience.

So expensive. I understand that an out of hours veterinary service costs you, but this is my only choice connected to Vets4Pets Mansfield and it is extortionate. They were supposed to complete my insurance claim, my dog was stung by a bee, had an antihistamine and an anti inflammatory shot. The claim states; limp. What even is that! Are they expecting the insurance company to read your treatment breakdown?! You charged me £300 for you to write....limp?! You didn't even write what he had!!! Also, you told me my dog was being dramatic. Excuse me! But how else does a dog that doesn't cry know how to tell you it is in pain other than holding his paw up and not walking. Sadly, I've had to use this place twice because my dog has a tendency to eat things he shouldn't. My opinion of the surgery is very low. If it weren't for the fact that my registered vets out of hours service is directed to this place, wouldn't go near it. Expensive and rude

The service is great but the price is extortionate. Out of hours service is way over double of my vets in hours. So I won't be recommending them. £729 at my vets on a Saturday morning and £1823 on a Sunday morning at vets now. Other vets in my area are half the price for out of hours. Its disgusting I will be changing vets after covid to one that has its own out of hours vet

Ever since Charlesworth Veterinary Surgery joined with vets now it's been bad. Don't let them spoil The Charlesworth Veterinary Surgery's reputation. And do not refer me to your customer services.
