Really good exhibition, well suited to the space. Lovely chat with invigilator (Fraser), who was very knowledgeable and also thorough in securing the COVID security of the place. Also great cafe and postcards!
We use to come here regularly, always because of the brilliant cafe... but alas, no more.
Really miss the old Nunnery Gallery Cafe... Michael & AJ... expert Baristas. Strangely the new owners still have the coffee machine, (maybe not) but the coffee is made in line with Costa coffee - overly milky and bitter... very sad.
Gallery space as always is great, we love visiting the exhibition space. But we won't be returning in a hurry as we used to, because the cafe is really pretty poor quality.
Covid safety procedures are in place.
A great small gallery that punches above its weight. Shows include really stimulating ones on industry: Plastics, Bow Porcellain + Printing, as well as the East London Group of Artists... ...and yes, nice coffee too
Amazing exhibition space, would love to contribute to a future exhibition if ever possible.
Great space, lovely people. Highly recommended.
Love the home made food they serve in the little café. The best lentil and carrot dahl in east London and only a fiver. This place is a real sanctuary.
