Fabulous cricket grounds to watch a match. Atmosphere is always buzzing.
Leicestershire County Cricket Club, Grace Rd, Leicester, LE2 8AD, Leicestershire, England was founded in 1879. Over the years as a non-Test venue Grace Road Stadium & "The Foxes" have had the invariable ups-and-downs of any sporting enterprise, with a trophy or two along the way but with more than their fair share of years in the doldrums.
It was only as recently as 2016 that they finally installed six, 40m pitchside floodlights at Grace Road that enabled them to finally start generating some new income, firstly courtesy of floodlit T20 Blast cricket and also floodlit entertainment/concerts.
We lived in Leicester off-and-on for 20 years and made it to Grace Road a time or two for cricket and also for social events. A neat place that's well worth a visit.
Stayed here for 1 night in February 2020, really nice hotel in a great location. Staff were friendly and helpful.
2 lovely pools to relax in after a day exploring the sights, preferably with a cocktail from the bar!
Great menu too. The rooms are spacious , bathroom was huge!

Visited this place for a conference. The staff were pleasant and friendly. Facilities were clean. The downside was having to walk through the stands to get to the conference room.
Went to go see a game here a while back, and the atmosphere was electric. The game was very exciting with many sixes being hit. Good overall facilities, with lots of seats to choose from, and you can't complain about the ticket prices seen as though they are such a good price!
