I purchased a Rover P4 80 classic car which had no boot key. Without a key code it was impossible to get a key cut.
I called the shop, explained my predicament to Sharon who said bring it round and she'd take a look. I took my boot lock and a P4 drivers guild book.
The book said the 3 digit code should be on the boot lock spindle. Only a 7 was there. My FP series ignition key fitted the lock-but obviously did not operate it- so we were sure it must be an FP series key.
Sharon stripped the lock removed the barrel, identified the 5 tumbler configuration to be 13132 and promptly went to her special key cutting machine inserted a blank FP template and produced a key that fitted and operated the lock.
Amazing!- I have never experienced such professional customer service.
