Excellent cars for a great price.
I’ve been renting through Green Motion for a few years and I never had a problem.
Cars are always in perfect condition and the staff is never pushy.
In the last couple of occasions I’ve been looked after by Adrian who I found very professional, friendly and helpful.
They are metres away from the DLR so it’s very convenient if you live in Central or East London.
Highly recommended!
Not accepting American Express is fair enough but hiding it in the small print and then the only option being to pay a large amount for "upgraded" insurance feels like a scam.
The rest of my rental was not bad.
Staff were OK (although one was pretty moody on the phone)
Pick up was not fast but not that slow
I'm not a fan of the "leave with the amount of fuel you collect with" policy - I think it should be dropped off and collected full
The 100 mile a day limit is quite limiting (I ended up being only 20miles under!)
But I will never use Green Motion again. I could never recommend a company which I feel is outright trying to scam it's customers.
Avoid.
Read details carefully and follow the rules and you'll be ok. Fast checking in and out on the 3 times I have used them with no problems. I have turned up 10 minutes early before to beat queues for on the hour pick ups and the team have been happy to set me up with a car straight away.
The organisation has a clear rental policy, the guys here at London City work hard to get people though efficiently. If you have the right paperwork, there's never a problem. Really good prices and although they offer to upsell, there's no pressure. Great service in a busy site.
