Had to use this car park as the one close to the beach was closed, I can only assume this is because the one at the beach appears to be free and this one isn't. £1 for an hour or £6 for over an hour. If you wanted to explore the beach and surrounding areas including the castle you could easily be over an hour which would prove costly.
Ticket machines didn't work when I visited, only other option to pay is calling the parking company and paying with your card over the phone. There's no option to pay via an app or website.
There's a short walk down a steep hill to the beach which could prove challenging upon your return if you suffered with mobility issues. There is an alternative route however this involves steps which again are not suitable for anyone with mobility problems.
The car park at the beach is closed so you can only park at the top and walk down. Parking is,shall we say challenging at the moment . The beach was relatively quiet and quite stunning.
Good access. Loved the views.
Beautifully view 🤩🤩😍 . You can do Swimming, walking and picnic.
Small carpark with old pay stations. Good access to the bay. Traffic in and out was confused.
