Bewdley

Severn Valley Railway: Feel the heat and experience the steam train rumbling under your feet. Prepare to venture back in time for 16 miles along the beautiful Severn Valley between Kidderminster, Bewdley and Bridgnorth

Came off the railway, lovely walk round Nice food, clean and tidy town

Lovely old town spoiled by the traffic.

We had a great family day out all the way to bridge north so much to see and experience, plenty of interesting places to stop and explore. This is not a grip but something to be aware of, our journey out we were all able to sit together, we got off on our return to look at the engine sheds and displays, we then ended up getting one of the last trains back which was fairly full so we ended up being separated for the rest of the journey.

I really love visiting Bewdley and Arley on the SVR. Both villages are gorgeous to walk through especially Arley and the arboretum. I you feel up to it, it's a decent walk up to the reservoir too but only do that when its dry, otherwise you'll slip into the Severn for a dip.
