I wasn't very lucky to see many animals but still worth to go if you around. I think it's best to go on the sunny day.

The reptile centre is a great place to visit after March as everything hibernates! Take your time to go round the pods, and then go round again. Run by volunteers who like to help you spot the reptiles, all found in the New Forest. Wild Wednesdays for kids in the holidays. Donations for the car park, the rest is free!

Unfortunately the reptiles within these creche areas do not always play ball and stand on show for us to see, but the knowing that everything that is safely born within is used to restock dwindling numbers in their local habitats! 😎

I come here every time I'm in the new forest. It's a wonderful opportunity to see our native reptiles and amphibians. It's nice to be able to support them in their work and they are so friendly and full of information! There's also some lovely walks through the forest that can be accessed from here. If you are in the area I highly recommend you visit.

We had been around for a long walk on the day I visited and ended up by the reptile centre just by chance. It was free to just walk in and look at the very few reptiles they had. To be honest, it wasn't very exciting but then again I didn't really expect it to be. I think this would be quite a good place to take children and have a picnic or something as it was spacious, there was a few interesting animals to find and benches for sitting/eating. Probably wouldn't bother to come here again but it wasn't terrible.
