After 69 years it became time to sell our much loved family home in Abergavenny. On contacting Parrys, Heather came to see us withing 24 hours and, with outstanding professionalism, appraised the property and began to take notes for the sale, but much more than that, she manifested a wonderful empathy and understanding of the emotional weight on us at this time. She showed a real interest in the history of the house, our family and that we wanted it to be a family home again. She quickly became a friend as well as a trusted businesswoman. Quite a lot of the arrangements had to be made 'at a distance' as we live a long way from South Wales and, of course, the Covid-19 pandemic curtailed travel for quite a while. Parrys we're tremendously helpful, knowledgeable and efficient. They responded to our questions and requests promptly and willingly, making the whole process of selling the house go as smoothly as possible. Parry’s were selling a cottage that we had a offer accepted on. We had intended to renovate the cottage while living in our existing house. However, we were unaware of the additional Land Registry Tax that we would be liable to pay if at any point we owned two properties. We decided to sell our existing house and instructed Parry’s to assist us in the sale. In less that three weeks from the date we had the offer accepted on the cottage, Parry’s had valued our house, took the photographs, prepared the sales particulars and sold our property. It was such a quick and efficient process. This saved us a hefty tax bill and kept the purchase of our dream cottage on the cards, all of this happened while the country was under threat of lockdown. The work ethic and professionalism at Parrys Abergavenny is exceptional, they truly are a great team and we owe them a debt of gratitude, as six months on we own a beautiful cottage that is beyond our wildest dreams. We couldn’t be happier.

We decided to use Parry’s due to their common sense approach to the property valuation and marketing plan, we were not disappointed, they kept us informed of all viewings and responded quickly to all questions and queries ,even stepping in at one point to help us with an issue at the property.
