We visited this week and to be honest, I'd rather pay more at the local Sainsbury's. I gave a member of staff an empty box to dispose of, he promptly dropped it to the floor. I've never seen anything like it. It was almost pitch black in the car park. I expected it to be cold and dirty so that was no shock. I wasn't expecting the lights to be dimmed in store on the aisle I was on just as I was reading a label. I went to a self service till as I simply couldn't face having someone be rude to me UNMASKED. If I HAD to I MIGHT shop here, but why would I? If the worst comes to the worst I can drive over to Tesco Surrey Quays.
Great superstore! Foodwise I'm super happy with this place. More vegan stuff than any other British supermarkets and products I haven't seen anywhere else. I didnt really check out the non food items like clothes and cleaning stuff etc. But there seemed to be a big variety with those too :) the only thing was slightly confusing was their overhead signs were a little bit out of order but this may just have been that they were changing stock order.
