I tried to use the Fuel Service app here (at approximately 8pm on Wednesday 4th November), which is supposed to help disabled people like me who can't fill up their own car. I attempted to use the App but there was no response. Upon arriving at the petrol station, I called the number to access the service by phone, which did not work.
I asked another customer if he could alert the man inside that I needed assistance. He came back and said that the member of staff had said I was supposed to call the number (which I did to no avail) - basically it seemed he just couldn't be bothered to help.
The customer I asked to go inside ended up helping me instead.
If you need to use the Fuel Service App, avoid this place.
Three stars, because I can't go all nutty over a gas station. But look, let's get down to brass tacks, you can put fuel in your car, pay for it, and drive off. Pretty good for a gas station. Cream on top, it's on the way to the motorway if your heading out of town... And I guess if you've come off the motorway in search of fuel as you're on empty (as we always seem to be) then it's reassuringly close to the slip road. Finally, it has the typical convenience store where you can pay triple for all those things you should have packed but didn't!
Had to pick up parcels,straight forward no problems.
Be very careful as I have overcharged by £70 using pay at the pump. Filled up with £30 and debited by bank account with £100. Need to file a debit card dispute with my bank. Garage staff not helpful either.
It's a petrol a station, they sell fuels (shocking I know), basic foods (bread milk etc.), sweets and drinks.
