Very nice National trust property. Unfortunately due to coronavirus the house itself was closed to the public. The cafe and toilets were open. Parking is good and close to the entrance. The staff are extremely pleasant and helpful. The grounds near to the entrance are ideal for a picnic. There are plenty of walking areas. Nice place spend half a day.
Great place and just an hour from home. Very spacious and felt a safe space in these days of Covid. Definitely will return and spend more time here. Lots to explore and so many different varieties of apple trees. Words fail me ...
One of our favourite N.T. properties. In this time of restrictions, it is still worth visiting for the different "graded" walks. The cafe is now open again for a cuppa and cake/sandwiches. There is also a chance to buy some of the plants grown in the gardens.
Really great place to visit. Lovely gardens and fabulous for a picnic. Can't comment on the restaurant as did not use it. Gardens mainly pram friendly (the odd step about but nothing major). The sunloungers on the lawn were a lovely touch for sitting for 5 to take in the view. Walks around the grounds not pram friendly!
Lovely walk round Erddig. Not many people about. Definitely go mid week.
