They've been really helpful in arranging my insurance and changing the policy when I had to sort a different car after a failed MOT. It would've been so much more stressful if I didn't have them at the other end of the phone. It's just a shame they're closed all weekend.

Had some bad driving experiences in the past and lewis the lad i spoke to was excellent best customer service i have had on insurance if you need anyone ask for him got me a great price considering my past experiences couldnt recommend him enough top service

After my son being quoted an amount online he was then given an increased amount when he called to take out the policy!!! He paid a £500 deposit. He had the policy 2 days and I got him a considerably cheaper one with Ford Insurance, so having the 14 day cooling off period ( that’s a joke) he called to cancel the policy and was told he would be charged.....................wait for it £180!!! Apparently Quote Detective take £50 and Equity Red Star take £50 and the other £80 is for the 2 days cover he already has had??? So forget the 14 day cooling off period we’re you are entitled to any premiums paid refunded, as Quote Detective have a very different idea of a cooling off period, they seem to think it is a Ripping you off period!! Well I am taking this to the Financial Conduct Authority, what an absolute rip off and a terrible way to treat a customer who has the audacity to simply find a better deal or change their minds 😡😡😡
