What an absolute joke of a place. Is it a library or a social club? Teenagers socialising everywhere and parents allowing their kids to run riot. Staff have no clue. I think they're happy just not to be bothered, as any request for help seems to be a chore for them. I could be wrong, but I am sure the staff are paid?! To Newham Council: sort it out.

Sad experience for a library. Way too small. Areas crammed together. Staff don’t really have common sense or maybe notion of what a library is for. Sad that the #NewhamCouncil has decided to invest so little in a library. With so may buildings behind built in that area with new great spaces, they decided to use this as Canning Town library. Sad sad sad. Anyway, a lady from the council was doing some research on the library users (I didn’t take part) noise was from 10am as some people here have stated, noise, people answering phones, lady conducting quality research having the conversation with people right at the entrance. No control of noise or concern with people who were here for the quiet or studies, or for literature. Honestly that is why some other areas (most areas in London as far as I have noticed) develop much more culturally than Newham. Suggestions to #NewhamCouncil, Invest in education and culture more than you have, as a result you will probably spend a lot less in police and crime prevention. Now a baby started crying out loud in in the back... Oh and the library is not busy yet! I cannot stay any longer. God save us all. Bye

I have been three times to register, first time I brought my identification card, they said we need proof of address.
Second time the computer system is down we can’t register you
