LloydsPharmacy

I have been visiting this pharmacy for some years. I use it because of its proximity to where I live. I suffer with a chronic illness, so I have visited many times to collect various prescriptions. This means I have had time to carefully review its operation and gather enough information to write this review. The pharmacy is always rather busy. I have never visited and been the only person there. The building itself is small and can become overcrowded at times. It can also be difficult to tell who is next to be served and who is just waiting for their prescription to be dispensed. They have a wide variety of items on sale. And most of the staff have good knowledge of the products being offered. On several occasions, I have been taken aback by the abruptness and surliness of both the assistants and pharmacists alike. I have been and have witnessed others being treated with utter contempt. Two members of staff, in particular, lack any real people skills and treat people with complete disrespect and an absence of empathy. On several occasions’ one pharmacist has publicly interrogated me with regards to WHY I need certain medications, which for most people would be an embarrassing situation. Luckily, my condition does not embarrass me in the slightest, but I do find it odd that they would readily question an instruction (prescription) from another medical expert (nurse/doctor/consultant) to dispense medications to an unwell person so visibly. So due to this I will be looking for another pharmacy, even if it means travelling a little further afield. Which is a real shame as not all the staff who work there are unfriendly and cold. Unfortunately, it is the few that have spoiled it for the many. How very disappointing…

I've been going 2 this chemist now for around 23yr now, and I've seen many staff come and go. Some nice some not so nice but I've never been treated badly told off or interrogated like others have said about my meds! They by LAW have 2 do a "medicine review" with you! And they will ask why you take things if you don't think you need them! I've always gotten along with the staff at the end of the day if you give out nasty you gonna get nasty back!!! Be nice 2 each other! They have also been amazing in getting my disabled brothers medicine from.boots safe onto their systems and now he gets the right medication and the exact amount of meds now as well not shorted on his specific pain and mussel medicine that can give folk who take it "now and then" owill get them high!!!!🤔🤔🤔🤔 come on now every month PLEASE BOOTS so yes LloyDs is a great chemist

Absolutely appalling service, the girl at the counter knew better than my GP apparently? Disorganised, unprofessional shambles, I wouldn’t use these again which is a huge shame as most Lloyds Pharmacies are excellent

Why do they never answer their telephone ??
