Really bad experience unfortunately. I hired Mr Lewis as he did a fantastic job on my neighbours house a few years before I moved to the area and it was only after I hired him, and he was doing the work, did I find out his apprentice actually completed that job. He quoted in good time and uses good quality materials. The job started well and progressed quite nicely until he disappeared for 4 weeks as he was undertaking work on a highly paid gable end job at another property. He did eventually return and 'finished' the job. Most of the work was carried out when I was myself in work so, when I arrived home at the end of the project, my wife told me he was completed. That night he sent the invoice. I looked over the work and there were several issues including down-pipes not connected to the drain and draining onto the floor around the house, drilled holes in the fascias with no nails fitted, areas not siliconed in and left unfinished, broken render stuck back on with silicone sealant, sharpie marks and poor fitting joints on the down-pipes. He got extremely angry when I asked for these to be sorted out right and made me feel extremely threatened. It was so bad that I had to move house soon after. My next door neighbour wanted her eaves renewed and after watching my experience hired someone else.

We initially hired Paul to replace the guttering and fascia boarding on our garage and we were that impressed that we then hired him (within a month) to do the rest of our house. His workmanship is of a very high standard and on completion all the rubbish was taken away and everywhere cleaned up. We would highly recommend Paul.
