Open sir seating is available. Peaceful environment. There is a car washing area there. Not sure if its open to the public but you can ask. Officers that come there are very kind and courteous to civilians patronising the place. Generally this is a good place to sit and relax with some drinks and friends whan you wander from the airport for a snack, food or drink.

It’s a military check point. Sort of an entrance to the Air Force Base Tamale as well as the Tamale Airport. There’s no hustle. Stop, check, drive!
