Odaw Railway Station

Beware of thiefs and robbers here at night. In any case the train doesn't operate at night, so what would be doing there at night. This place is to be the main place for passengers to board train to Nsawam. We have only two coaches as as today February 17, 2018: one from Accra to Tema and the other from Accra to Nsawam. At independence in 1957, we had over 1000km of rail. Now we don't even have 100km to travel on. We have heard plans is expansion and building of new ones. This place would be one of the most busiest of all when the new rails are built as it is the most central place in the city of Accra.
