What a big disappointment. I have visited this place 2 different times before and enjoyed it. This time there was no live guide, it was all by movie. As the movies played they tried to emphasize certain paintings and artifacts they produced by using lights shining down in them. The lights didn’t work and we had to use the lights on our phone. In fact, the 3rd little movie clip stopped 2 times part way through and started all over again. It was so frustrating our whole group walked out. I complained after and all I got was a shrug of the shoulders. Wow. Poor customer service. I’ll never bring a tour group here again. Avoid this place like the plague. A complete rip off.

I only visited the gift shop this time, but have previously found this museum fascinating as it concentrates not on the past or the present but in the future, actually actively preparing for the coming if the messiah. On the trip, I just popped in to get a new בשמים for הבדלה. The Temple Institute sells a mixture similar to/based on the קטורת used in the בית המקדש that I've never been able to find elsewhere. They have a lot if other cool items as well.

Great if you want to support the work going on there! Disappointing as there was not much to see for the avid Bible Student that would have studied the Temple and its ministry. Though it does reinforce what is in Scripture. They do bring in some extra Biblical info that is questionable. But overall a unique opportunity!

Love this place cos I get to see all the cool temple and priest related stuff that’s written in the bible. No photography allowed inside so I literally risked my life to get this shot. LOL
