Nashville International Airport

Really easy to fly in and out of this airport. 5 stars for that. But 0 stars for signage. if you park in one of the garages, you are completely on your own to guess how to get to the terminal from your parking spot. There are no signs indicating where the stairs or elevators are located. When you finally find the elevator and guess that the first floor is where you want to go, there are no signs pointing to the terminal! When returning to the parking garage from the terminal, there are no signs directing you to the garage.

New security is a breeze and new terminal is just what BNA needed.

Very clean and sanitized. Full of shops and restaurants.

Now that there is another wing to the airport, there are more flights and destinations than ever. The security here is super chill but make sure you read the signs as to what is allowed in your bag or not. There isn't a whole lot of food options in the new south wing so if you're flying southwest, you might want to bring a real meal with you. The other side of the airport has some pretty good places to eat regardless of the time of day. There is a pretty big rental car service area but it's better to have a reservation than show up hoping for the best.

Flight landed at 11:30pm. Airport was mostly empty but they were doing construction. With 2 kids and 5 bags, we couldn't use the elevator closest to the baggage claim, but had to walk all the way to a different elevator juggling strollers, rolling suitcases, and cranky toddler. Then after baggage claim, again had to walk all the way back in the opposite direction we need to go to get to the parking garage. Great little airport aside from that but this was my experience this time.
