Wow! This was such an incredible hotel with an amazing staff. Complimentary cocktail hour, beautiful courtyards & pool. Plus, our room was spotless. If you’re new to Savannah, this hotel is in the perfect location to enjoy the best of what the city has to offer. Rodney, a staff member at the front desk was by far the most helpful hotel employee I’ve ever come across. He was polite, enthusiastic, & was always ready to help. I will absolutely be back!
Booked a couple of rooms last minute as we were passing through Savannah. Perfect location! Although it's a pet friendly hotel and we didn't have a pet, it was still quite entertaining with the variety of dogs around. Staff was great! Common areas were pretty well thought through as well. However the hotel is showing its age especially in the rooms and bathrooms. Could also use a more thorough cleaning given the current situation and the pets around.
Clean hotel, welcoming staff, and pet friendly. Simple and upscale decor. Has an outdoor pool, and the main building surrounds a quiet courtyard in the middle with plenty of outdoor seating.
Take advantage of the restaurant, Pacci, located off the main entrance, open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. (The pancakes are awesome!)
Located near the end of River Street, the hotel is conveniently located to take advantage of what Savannah has to offer both on foot and by car.
Recently stayed at the Brice for a few days. First let me say that the staff are wonderful. Very helpful, friendly, everything you'd want from a hotel. The place is nicely decorated and very clean. They have a happy hour daily with wine, beer and non alcoholic beverages. Rooms aren't huge but they are nicely appointed even with COVID restrictions. Parking is very convenient. Their garage is right across the street.
Located in the historic district, they are at the east end but still within ready walking distance of River Street and City Market. We would stay there again on our next trip to Savannah!
I'm confused why this hotel is rated as high as it is and wanted to try let others know what I wish I would have known! I'll start with the positives. The hotel is in a great location, the lobby is nice, and the staff is friendly and helpful. However, I would not stay there again or recommend anyone staying there. I understand that it's a pet-friendly hotel, but it isn't executed well. Usually pet-friendly hotels have some sort of hard-surface floors to make cleaning easy and avoid smells. This whole hotel smells like a vet clinic. There were large stains all over the carpet in our room that I can only assume were from dogs peeing on the floor. The bathroom looks like it hasn't been touched since the 90s... outdated tile, a shower curtain ripped and torn all over, a horrible, old shower head with very low water pressure, and no fan in the bathroom. Because there is no fan in there, the whole ceiling was cracked and peeling from the humidity. Lastly, the air conditioner couldn't keep up and the room stayed about 5 degrees above what it was set on. This hotel needs to make major updates before it's somewhere worth staying!
