Excellent aquarium especially if visiting the area. We really loved the frogs and nibble fish as well as the stingrays. The staff is friendly and helpful especially Jim! He took the time to explain the different exhibits which was extremely helpful with identifying each of the different crabs, worms, snails. Thanks!
Fresh/ bright and creative. 4-5 touch pools with a bird cage exhibit. The shark touch tank was just water because the sharks are nocturnal no movement. The otters were cute but only saw them for 10 mins. Then they disappeared. Felt like the staff had eagle eyes on everyone but we’re very very nice. Once you walk in and round the corner you see the gift shop. Took the wind out of my sail. Thought it was bigger but still had a nice time. In and out in a hour. Thought it was a little overpriced but those salt water pumps have gotta run.
Super clean bathrooms and very good infection control with hand washing stations.
Visited this little aquarium today. We are from Florida so we're used to huge elaborate places, but really enjoyed Living Shores Aquarium. The bird and otter displays are especially nice as are the tanks where you can touch the sea creatures. The staff are friendly and helpful.
It hasn't been open very long, so they are still working out a few kinks but still really liked it and so did our two girls, ages 11 and 13 (so even bigger kids can enjoy it). The area for playing with sand was quite popular.
Also checked out the restaurant. It has a bar area, which is a nice touch for adults. My girls also enjoyed browsing in the gift shop.
We are in the area several times a year and will definitely be returning.
It may appear small, but they pack some good things for all inside. The otters are fun to watch, the nibbles are so cool! Sting Ray's and shark you can touch! And an atrium! The kids love it. Such a fun time!
I went to living shores aquarium with my 3 year old son and wife. It cost us 20 dollars per person. The whole experience lasted us about an hour. It wasnt as big as I thought it was going to be. I was totally surprised to round the first corner and be at the gift store signaling the end of the tour. The staff was very friendly and awesome. They done a very good job of making us feel welcome. An my son had a good time which was the whole purpose of the trip.
