Maple Leaf Hotel

The outside looks nice, though the parking is across the street and I wasn’t a bit worried if my car would be safe. The front desk staff are friendly and helpful! Our suite was on the 4th floor, the carpeting on the stairs definitely needs to be changed as it’s worn and dirty and smelly. The first room we were shown wasn’t cleaned. The bed was recently slept in and I had to call the attention of the staff to it. We were moved across the hall to a clean room, but unfortunately the view was not as good as the first room. The suite is spacious and comfortable, the ac is cold. The water was a bit dirty and the sliding glass doors were cracked. The balconies were both very dusty and dirty. We ordered food from the restaurant and it was DELICIOUS! The price was also very reasonable. We had an amazing view of the fireworks all around Accra from New Year’s Eve from their rooftop balcony. Definitely recommend it.

Unprofessional and insensitive to customers needs. Liked · The breakfast on my first day was OK but they left the dishes after customers take their breakfast till the next day before they wash the dishes. Finding my location took 2hrs because they don't have any system to check in. They have a phone with their workers so no one is responsible for answering calls. I gave up calling. I wish I had not book already. Disliked · I was there for 3-days but was served 1 day breakfast which am entitled to. My room was not cleaned when I was there. Infact, I couldn't shower or fully used the toilet bowl cos it disgusting. I will attach all photos. The workers are very rude and lack customer care. I can walk into the hotel and no one cares. Security is compromise!

Great ambience and service. Food came quickly. Noodles were not bad although they did taste quite similar to Indomie noodles. The rice is also good but some people may not like the smoky flavour they add to their beef. Overall not bad and the price point is good.

So I went mainly because of the Korean food and trust me the place is serene neat and very calm. I enjoyed hot the food scenery and customer service. I was impressed. I will surely go back.

This place is rated 3 stars. No way. The carpet on the stairs leading to the bedrooms was fraying. The bedrooms were depressing. If you sat on the balcony you would not be able to see over the wall. Glad I looked at it in person before booking. It is a big no for me.
