University of Ghana, Tema Centre Office. This place is the office of the University of Ghana's Distance Education Centre, Tema. The Tema Centre is the latest addition to the already existing 10 centres of the University College, across the country. The office also offers Adult Education for mature illiterates who desire literacy. Mature classes for individuals who want to enter the university as mature student is also available at this centre. The Office of UG Learning Centres adopts the vision of the School of Continuing and Distance Education which is to pursue academic programmes and activities towards the realisation of the potential growth that exists for investing in the expansion of adult, continuing and distance education programmes which would extend the reach of the University to student and adult populations in formats which the traditional face-to-face classroom cannot provide.
