A Community Based Health Planning Services (CHPS) compound located in Akyem Moseaso community in the Atiwa West District, Eastern Region Ghana. The facility was donated by the community. An old CMB quarters was renovated and upgraded to one of the key intervention in primary Heath care delivery. It is estimated that, the CHPS concept will help bridge the gap between the people and access to Health Care. CHPS are man by Community Health Officer (CHO) and in some cases a Midwife. The facility looks like one of the smallest but the intervention is on of the greatest. Never travel to the big Hospitals for routine health services including child welfare clinic, and reproductive health while you have a CHPS compound at you door step.
