The site we had was great and the campground has many activities to do. The activities like putt putt and horse back riding do cost extra. The horse back riding is worth it but not the pony rides. My major dislikes are the cost and other campers. This is the most expensive KOA we have stayed at only two people are included in the cost. It doesn’t seem like the other campers obey any speed limits or quite time. Make sure to enter the address in google. Entering KOA East Sparta takes you to the wrong location.

I give 5 stars because when we got here, the fan didn't work and neither did the mini fridge. BUT when brought to the camps attention, they bought us a box fan to use and replaced the mini fridge. The camp was beautiful!! Horse back riding was awesome as well. I would definitely recommend! 😊

This was our first outing in a new travel trailer and it was great! Jamie that works there was so helpful in helping us set up!!! Got us all leveled out and gave us tips. Was so relaxed knowing he was there if we had any questions. Been tent camping there before too and always enjoy it.

8 of us spent a long holiday weekend here (from age 7 to 70+). We rented a cabin for 6 and had a trailer hooked up in a full hookup spot. The camp was very full for the holiday. We took the trail ride on horseback, rented the paddle boats and kayak and swam in the pool. 6 of us used the shower house. Everything was clean, well maintained (nothing was broken or leaked or smelly or anything 😳🎉) and the staff was very friendly and helpful. The other people camping (and there were many from all over) were pleasant enough as well. I heard some words at the pool I told my youngest to ignore, but that was it. The campgrounds is fairly hilly, so there are some steep slopes when walking and driving. There are also lots of mature trees for shade. We aren't super experienced campers, and we survived and had a great time 🙂
