Westfield / Lake Erie KOA

The pull thru they gave us was perfect. Park was clean; staff was pleasant.

The staff and grounds are amazing!!! Easy access from the interstate. Beautiful location. Super clean and easy to navigate. Dennis was a lifesaver(insert a little excitement here)!!! Unplanned stop that turned out to be perfect! A huge thank you. Oh, and you must have the pizza! 5 stars!

Friendly staff, food was good. Only stayed one night, could hear traffic and trains but wasn't too terrible. Easy pull in access from the street. Was our first night with a 30'RV. Parking was a little tight, but hook ups were easy Nice park across the street at waters edge of Lake Erie.

This KOA is a hidden gem. My kids loved it, they have this creek in the back that is unlike anything I've even seen. Perfect for nature lovers. Upon arrival, I made a mistake in the site I picked. They were super nice about switching me into one I could fix, and did it quickly. The campground was clean, and it really close to the nicest lake beach I've even been at. This KOA got put on our annual list to visit!

The whole place was nice. Beautiful stream that leads across the road to Lake Erie. Vineyards. Fishing ponds. You can rent peddle bikes that our kids loved. They also have a food truck that is open at night. It may be just be due to Covid... but the delivered the food to your RV and firewood! Which was really cool not having to carry firewood back to the RV! You can go across the road to the Lake but there was a cliff and fence. You could walk about 3/4 mile to walk on the beach. I didn’t notice a sidewalk or anything and we didn't walk it so I'm not sure how easy the walk is. I would have given 5 stars if it wasn't for one lady that worked there... unfortunately, her nasty attitude, didn't ruin our vacation, but didn't make it fun either! :) She snapped at my girls when they wanted to rent a bike and told them "it was too dark and couldn't they see that?" The cut off to order food is 8:30. The signs say... order by 8:30. My wife called at 8:20.. to hear, "cutting it a little close aren’t you??" And then, "well it better be an easy order..." she may very well be the owner or manager... we didn't get her name... but she was short on the phone with someone while we were in the store too. Some people just shouldn't be in customer service. Other than her though! Lol. Every other person was very nice and friendly! The lady that brought the food and wood to our RV was nice, the guy watching the bikes was very nice.... just her.... watch out for her ;)
