A feast for the eyes and senses
Kew Gardens is a phenomenal place to enjoy the beautiful flora of the world. The place is huge and cannot even begin to be covered in one day. There are some of the worlds largest greenhouses containing plants from every tropical zone of the world. Kew houses the largest repository of seeds in the world as well. The outdoor gardens are laid out beautifully as well. It is a great place for the whole family. It is easy to get to by train from London.
Amazing gardens, great day out whether on your own, with friends or family. The membership is totally worth it if you would like to visit often like I do. There is a paid for car park or if you lucky there is parking around the green which is free. Toilets are clean and easily accessible. Can bring your own picnic and find somewhere nice to chill. The gardens are large enough it never feels busy once inside.
A beautiful location for a walk. Any photos posted only represent part of the appeal: so many shrubs and flowers are scented so there us plenty to experience.
There is so much to see and plenty of benches to sit and admire the lakes, flower beds and long vistas. Also a variety of places for children to run / play / explore are accessible.
Catering facilities were open for takeaway service. Clean and well maintained toilet facilities are spread around the site.
A beautiful place that's full of information and was great to explore. My partner did get attacked by a raven but in all honesty it was really funny. It was nice to see so many different plants and birds, including the parakeets hanging around in the trees.
This is the place to go if you want to relax and have a leisurely walk in a calming environment.
Beautiful, beautiful trees. Best visited in spring, with the plants blooming. A joy for kids, who can enjoy it at its full from 3yrs of age on. Great playground, but you need to book a slot (and some ladies at the entrance aren't exactly super nice). Very well kept. Makes you think about the importance and beauty of nature, putting to shame the human race which is instead destroying it.
