Bethel Presby in Apirede is one of the first Presbyterian churches to be established in Ghana. In addition to the church, Presby Primary and Junior Secondary School was established in 1875 and still operates as the main school for children living in Apirede. Standing beside the building, you can also see Lake Volta and Akosombo Dam located at the base of the Akuapem Mountain Range.
