The Oak Barrel

First time visitor and went along for a whisky tasting night. Super informative and fun atmosphere, with delicious and complex whisky to match. Amazing selection of whiskies with a wide variety to choose from. Staff are really helpful. Can't recommend enough.

One of the leading cellars bottle shops in Sydney. You often go into bottle shops and try find what you need but aren't sure and need a hand. Well these guys here really know their stuff. Not only does Oak Barrel possess and wide range of everyday offerings but they have an amazing selection of hard to find offerings. They even throw events where they host tasting sessions for the new release say whisky's and take you on a complete journey about the product, the distillery etc... a real experience & must do for anyone wanting to find out a little more about a special selection or new release or even for a gift voucher for that someone special. Located on Elizabeth Street, by train all you need to do is get off at museum and literally walk 200m down the road. They also have a great website with generally a very detailed description of each product. Highly recommend

I stopped over with this shop last week and ordered beers and champagne. I like the way on how the waiters and waitresses looked like. They were decent, kind, and wears a smile. Besides, the beers and the champagne that they served to me was great. Their shop was big and comfortable to relax. Honestly, it was truly nice to be here at your shop. Thanks!

I could spend hours in here,they have an amazing and eclectic range of whiskey wine and beer to suit all tastes. Especially if you're adventurous, can't wait to return

Great selection of quality and hard to find rums, craft beer and amazing wines. The staff is helpful and knowledgeable. There's always something new to find as well as old favorites.
