Great environment and very affordable, however I think it's a place to just go and have drinks. If you're hungry opt for the buffet trust me. We decided not to go for the buffet and ordered from the menu, it took them 2 freaking hours to bring our food. For that I took two stars off. Thankfully I wasn't starving that day ;)
Had the evening buffet on Easter Monday. Was bitten by mosquitoes all night as it was held outside. We found out when we were leaving that we could have sat inside. Parking is very bad. Hardly any space. We had to park in a different location and walked to Villandro. One dish Lamb Navarine was missing off the buffet and they did not substitute any other dish for it. Food especially the grilled pork and chicken wings was very very good. The peppered Gizzard was also very good. Overall l would go again. It's a lovely atmosphere and would love to try some of their other dishes.
Awesome food, Friday night buffet is on point plus nice assortment of drinks BUT parking is a big problem. You can be blocked for an hour because someone decided to park behind you and go chill without leaving their keys. Just don’t go with your car unless you want to be the wise man doing the blocking.
I can't say enough about this place.
First of the location. It's located at the heart of Accra just some 5 minutes drive from the airport. Villandro is quiet and serene. My first experience of villandro was that we had rented the place for a wedding. The host was amazing and the customer service from the staff too was top notch.
Villandro is a place I would recommend any day. Sincerely hurts me that I'm sharing one of my favorite spots in the city with the world.
Nonetheless, you will appreciate what I mean when you get there. See if you would want to share also🤗
