Krobo Hills

Very wonderful place. 2 hours of climbing the hills. 1 hour getting down. It was stressful. But in all we made it by the Grace.

The Krobo Mountain has a unique and impressive shape which can be seen from a long distance. The view from the top to Odumase on one side and the river Volta on the other side as well as many other towns and villages in the distance is fantastic. The way up is quite challenging due to the high temperatures and steep path, but the culminating view is certainly worth the effort. This mountain becomes the center of attention during the Krobo Festival, once a year, as the Manya Krobo people climes to the top and party on the way up.

Tough climb but worth every drop of sweat... View from the top is spectacular as well !!! And yes make sure you have water for the journey.. You would drink fluids like it’s the Sahara desert...

Sweaty, Steep, Rocky hike, summit is great for weekend camping, picnics etc, give it a shot.
