Excellent place of divinity.

I am a Hindu and went to this temple whenever I could last one year because this temple located at commutable distance from where I live. One important thing that I would like to mention is about few volunteeers at this temple dictate the devotees on where to sit and where to stand in the temple premise during pooja. These volunteers have no common sense what so ever to realize people are coming to temple to offer their prayers at peace. When I get distracted by these “silly” volunteers on telling me where I should stand or sit in the temple premises to worship; I questioned myself what am I doing here??!! (I am educated and know my social etiquette at public places including in a place of worship). In addition, the “important social figures” get attention and better treatment at the temple. And, keep in mind that I am also paying the temple for offering prayers and do offer temple donation and yet treated poorly by these silly volunteers. I am no longer attending prayers at this temple; I am at peace and content with my worship at home.

Tip of my hat to the Hindu people in The Woodlands. I went to the grand opening to this place and they had a pretty impressive spread of food. Not exactly a follower of Hinduism but can definitely confirm they share a refined palate.

A quiet place for contemplating in presence of the Divine. This is what a temple should be. Not the bustle or the closed doors or pushy priests.
