Amazing architecture of clay . Inside the buildings are channels and interestingly within the building is cool even though it is connected to electricity. This is a local construction suited for the hot climate

An architectural anomaly in northern Ghana. Called a "mosque" but no one holds daily prayers inside. More of a shrine to its builder. Locals haven't maintained its aesthetic well, with the recent addition of a tin roof on the front part. Pay a couple cedis for a tour. Details about its history are vague - hard to distinguish fact from fiction.
