If you love nature then this place offers that. There is a children's playground so if you have children you can actually bring them there for them to have a good time. There's also a restaurant close by for you to grab a quick bite. Before you enter you pay and there are several activities you can do as well but you will have to pay before you are allowed. If you want to take professional pictures with a digital camera you will have to pay as well. The place is cool tho and a good place to relax and enjoy nature.
It's a cool place to stay.
Lots of trees and natural environment to stay.
Has lots of fun. No harassment.
You can walk around freely. But you pay for other activities like rope course, etc.
Payment at the entrance was a hustle. Plenty back and forth. Had to go to the office twice before payment could be sorted. Zenith ATM at the entrance also not working. You need to work on making payments efficient.
I feel the fees charged for utility should be looked at as well. The officer in charge sounded confused with the billing.
The place is lovely
I would opt for more food vendors in vantage locations
The Legon botanical gardens is a cool place is hang out with family and friends. We visited on a Sunday. It wasn't over crowded as we had our own space for the children to run around and play. Ideal for picnics with soft music, reading and general relaxation. The entry fees are reasonable. For a family of 4 we paid 50ghc. Carry your water and snacks although there are is an ice cream/juice stand and a water/soda stand.
This is a place you should visit. The experience was great, it was fun, the garden has a whole lot of courses and activities you can participate in. There’s a canopy walkway, a canoe ride on a lake, a play ground for kids, a ropes courses and a lot more. I personally went on the ropes courses and it was great. Not too scary, but has some difficult courses. Big thanks to Linda and Charity and the other trained ropes course assistants. They were there to give moral support and assistance.
