UCCSMS COBES SITE

The site is run by the University of Cape Coast School of Medical Sciences and provides a setting for the training of medical students in Community based experience and service. Students come to appreciate the issues in the rural communities which affects health when they undertake yearly visits to these sites to study and learn how to conduct research under the guidance of faculty who acts as facilitators. They also offer service to these communities including medical screenings, teaching at their schools, health education , formation of clubs in schools and provision of some social amenities among several others
