The Gardens Casino

I really like The Gardens Casino. The staff is really friendly and the hospitality is excellent. However, it's hard for them to accommodate $4-$8 players. Just not enough tables . The wait-list is so long and it takes about two hours to get on at any given time. Other than that it's a nice place to play.

I don't often use the word "enchanted" but The Gardens Casino pretty much embodies it. It's the kind of place that you can't help but imagine elves and fairies cavorting around in. You park right in front, buy a ticket, wander in and suddenly you're surrounded by acres and acres of beautiful gardens, shaded meadows, meandering brooks and little wooden benches hidden in bowers. There's even a childrens' maze and miniature railroad for your own wee folk. It's hard to believe this sort of place exists in CA and I'm so grateful that it does.

The tents are overcrowded. But they do have hot air blowing, so it's not as cold as other casinos. There are Asian games tables open, with an exception of Spanish 21 and tiles. Staff is cleaning the seats after patrons leave, but they seem understaffed, so sometimes it takes a minute or two. You can eat and drink in designated areas with 6 feet between each seat, no outside food or drinks thought, which is understandable. Poker tent opened on 11/9/2020 with $100-200 (2/3) being the lowest limit for Texas holdem. Be prepared for a long wait even on weekdays, list is anywhere between 10-20 people long

It's always cool over there, Win over there more then any of the L.A. Casinos, so I suggest going there to get your gambling on. No favoritism like at Hollywood Park, Hustler and Crystal Park, I really enjoy it there and the food prices are reasonable also...🖒🖒🖒

Updated on April 2: The casino was opened over one month, they provide service outdoors with strict safety measures like everyone needs to wear a mask, keep social distance, they have too many spots for hands was in and hands sanitizing, no eating and drinking allowed in the poker area, if you want to drink and eat, you need to go to outdoors area to eat alone. When you are playing poker, each player will be isolated from others by a thick and tall glass wall. And the bad side is that it's hard to talk to a person next to you with thick glass walls and masks, but the good side is we are pretty safe here. Currently, the casino is closed before 6 am per day. This month casino is gonna move tables indoors, they have been working on this for a while, it would be in the same safe and cautious way. Anyway we will have a lot of Covid vaccine this month, please get vaccinated as soon as possible in this pandemic, hopefully, everything can go back to normal as soon as possible, let's all contribute a little to end the pandemic, stay happy, stay strong! --------- I went to this casino for around three years, most of the customers are regular customers, before the Covid pandemic, this place worked 24/7, but was closed three times in the pandemic, hopefully, they can recover sooner. The casino has good chairs, over 300 tables, the poker tables are around 160. The Poker tournament area is big and clean, there are big flat TVs anywhere, you can watch football, basketball, and boxing. The floor work very hard, you can order beer and cocktail before 2 PM, order food at any time, people in this place are friendly. This place is close to Long Beach, when you are tired you can go to the beach, and the outdoor air is clean and fresh, the parking lot is pretty big, but the busiest time is Friday night. It's a nice place to play poker cash games and tournaments, and you can also play with friends in the party pit. Have fun!
