Well worth a visit. The building is quirky, but then you find the whisky shop 😁

Lovely selection of items adhered to social distancing
Staff not very health and safety minded. I noted that there was a trip hazard at the entrance, to which the young member of staff replied, "It does that".
The Jail - not only a shop, with exquisite items to purchase.
It is also a step through time, in the real jail cells you can find lovely soap, or in another cell there is cashmere scarves from Johnson of Elgin and have a keek though the peephole.
From Barbour to The Slate company - The Jail is a absolute must visit in Dornoch.
