This is the first time in 45 years that I am turned away from attending Yom Kippur service at a synagogue. All synagogues around the world always keep standing room for those who did not reserve seats. Absolutely truly shameful. My kids could not comprehend the concept, especially on the holiest of days. And I could not give them a good explanation.
Taking a class here, it is both beautiful and open to non Jewish people. It is a place that puts principles before personalities. A really great institution!
Now I thought all are welcome to this beautiful and safe synagogue that is temple shaaray. apparently not here , I walked by this place for years and I finally walk in and ask to use the bathroom and was turned away without hesitation, now I worked in synagogue and churches and was welcome to let anyone use the bathroom or get a drink of water on a hot day . So shame on this place, I would love to see what they do on mitzvah day probably pushing the less fortunate and stealing candy from kids and calling it giving back to the community . Shame
Great place and organization! They have a lovely Shabbat service and are lively!
Soul less. Not the temple it was under teitelbaum. Turned away a grieving son. Shameful
