Charlestown Manor Beach And Campground

This place is awesome. Perfect summer time visit

Awful place. I tried taking my girlfriend and her two kids with me to go spend an evening on the water close to North East. We arrived about 5:15pm and went to the water. The shore was gravelly and the boys needed water shoes to play (which we didn’t bring because we were expecting sand). So they ended up sitting with us on a picnic bench enjoying some snacks and the shade. It was 95 degrees outside and we wanted to try and cool off. An old caretaker drove up to us on a lawnmower and kicked us out of the area. He said the beach closed at 5!!!! On one of the hottest days of the year!! We were very surprised and very disappointed. We weren’t hurting anything. Just sitting. But he kicked us out. The area was poor and run down and In a somewhat sketchy neighborhood. We left and will not be back. I am very disappointed.

Small and nice family beach, is a hidden gem and they have a beautiful snack shack with so many cute places to sit! You can feed the ducks that are there and enjoy the warm water with your family!

Great beach affordable to take the kids to have fun would recommend to any pa resident who doesn't want to drive too far to go to a beach this is the place to go.

Nice little privately owned rv park with a beach that is open to the public. Has a nice changing room, bathrooms, snack bar and spot to put your boat in. Has plenty of picnic tables for small or large families.
