Waterhouse Conservation Area

Beautiful. Unspoilt, and camping sites well laid out. Council road in is excellent. National park road section is terrible. Be careful if considering taking a caravan in, due to the rough road.

It's January long weekend It's covid and every known free camping area reserve is full .. Waterhouse has a couple of nice free camp areas but if you like to be on your own like myself forget it it's sardine city...caravans boats trailers generators it's hectic and quite frankly not that good both in scenery and enjoyment of the place....no facilities apart from one toilet to a whole camping area. ...no water or phone reception...

Love going to Waterhouse to relax. We love the beach and fishing. We are so lucky here in Tassie to have peaceful beaches. A beach like this in the mainland would be jam-packed full of people!
