Northeast Park

Nice flat parking area maintained by the local service clubs.. Right on the main drag so could b a little noisy for some. Toilets are clean and well maintained. $3 for a 4 minute shower. Playground. Covered picnic area. Garbage bins. Town water. Clothes line. Can't ask for any more from a free camp. Donation system in place and well worthy of a $ or 5.Town is just up the hill. Information centre very helpful with some great gift options too.

Brilliant Small Free Camp, great Amenities Hot Showers and very Clean Lavatories, also has a Dump Point, Lovely Park with Ponds BBQs and Lovely Walking Tracks. The Park is beautifully maintained by the Lions Club. Dogs Welcome. We have a 27’ RV and we were very lucky to find a drive through site with Fresh Water as the Park was full of smaller Caravans 2 to a site. Gorgeous Caravan Park, the road noise did not worry us.

Absolutely fantastic! The road noise isn't like it used to be now that the trucks are actually limiting air brakes down the hill.. wonderful clean toilets and well priced showers that are always clean. Connections to fresh water at every camp site and a well maintained dump point. Have stayed many times and will continue to do so whenever in the area. Please make a donation to keep this spot alive, there aren't many like it!

Always a pleasant experience. Well layed out. Good mix of age specific equipment. Ducks are always looking for a feed, but aren't pests if you don't feed them. Well kept.

Pretty spot with adequate toilet/shower facilities, however, cannot recommend for an overnight stay. The trucks and local louts ensure any chance of sleeping is excluded. Dog owners also need an education in dog poop collection....really??? How difficult is it to pick up after your dog??
